Rollers
The type of nap that is on the roller will give the desired result depending on what you want. So basically the shorter the nap in the roller then the smoother the finish will be. Plus you will use less paint. Hence the thicker the nap on the roller then the rougher the finish will be and you will more likely use more paint.
Natural sponge
Very useful in all types of jobs. These sponges can be expensive, especially in large sizes, but if taken care can last long. No two are alike, and that the pores must be chosen (different on both sides) best fit the type of foam you want to perform: the more pores, the finish will be less dense.
Bucket and grid
Amazing when you paint roller. They can be plastic or metal and should be washed thoroughly after each use to prevent paint from clogging the screen openings and remove all traces of dried paint that can be mixed with new paint in later works.
Timing Spatulas
Suitable for recording linear textures on surfaces of coating thickness. Loose and in packages of three spatulas of different sizes are marketed. It is very important to clean when paint is not completely dry, otherwise the dry remains are very difficult to remove and can completely disable them.
Putty spatulas
They are wider than the rigid and flexible spatulas and let you apply the putty on the wall leaving a spec. Sold in packs of four different size spatulas. It is important that the blade is completely free of any dry rest, as this will cause grooves and markings in the putty that become visible when painting.
Rigid Spatulas
Very useful both for preparing the walls to mix certain pigments. Is useful to have different widths spatulas. After completing work dry debris should be removed by scraping blade on one another until both the surface and the edges are thoroughly cleaned.
You flat
Plain are essential when working with pasta stucco or any other thick paste. It is advisable to have two of them: a large square to transport the paste; and a smaller, lightweight, rounded edges for applying stucco on the wall. As in the case of putty spatulas, flat surfaces must be completely clean.
Tape
Ry for convenient measurements adjusted is essential to have a metal tape measure good quality and no less than five meters.
Mask and gloves
When working with solvents or with powdered pigments containing heavy metals (lead, cadmium, cobalt, etc.), mask and rubber gloves should be used special. Such protective measures should be complemented by a good ventilation of the room in which we work. If you need help then here is the website.
Cutter and metal ruler
Both are necessary for cutting templates, masks and scraps of cardboard or paperboard. The rule should be long and metal, because the plastic would rapidly indented to make successive cuts with the cutter. As a supplement, it is interesting to have a plasticized rubber mat cutter that will not scratch the surface of the desk.
Containers
Be surprised to find the large number of vessels that are needed for the job: paint buckets, buckets of clean water, mixing containers, foamed trays, etc. The bottles of water five or more liters, cut in half, they’re perfect and very inexpensive containers. Furthermore, it is important to have different bins, buckets, plastic plates, trays and other containers of smooth faces in the painting can not be embedded.
